Around 3 AM on December 24, 2018, the channel would be created, kicking off a long lineage of projects by Hayden. Originally, the channel was known as HayBomb Gaming, then HayBomb Studio, before settling on HayBombYT permanently. The first era of the channel, as the name suggests, was primarily centered around gaming, such as reviews and general gameplay videos. After he began to branch out in video styles and topics, the channel would start its second era, HayBomb Studio. During this time, he would start animating in forms such as stop-motion and simple 2D character animation, and would lean into the more review-style videos that the channel started with, now focusing on more than gaming. Despite the name pretty much seeming fitting for everything that he would do, the channel would land on its final name and era, HayBombYT.
